cleaning areaStep 1

Choose the area in which you intend to lay out your Le Click teak flooring. Make sure that the area is clear of any debris and swept clean. Be sure to choose a level surface for the Le Click flooring to be lay out on.

measuringStep 2

Once you have decided upon the location for your flooring to be installed, use a measuring tape to decide the square footage of the area where the flooring is to be applied.

EACH TILE COVERS 1 SQUARE FOOT - 1 BOX OF TILES COVERS 10 SQUARE FEET

assemblingStep 3

Draw an outline of the area in which you are going to lay the floor. If laying the floor outside, we recommend that you use a carpenters pencil, for inside installation we recommend that you use masking tape. We recommend that a level be used when installing the flooring.

cuttingStep 4

Once the outline has been drawn, lay the flooring out in the desired pattern within the outlined area. Each flooring tile is surrounded with plastic locking mechanisms. If the flooring is permanent and there will not be any additional expansion we recommend that any exposed locking mechanisms be closely trimmed with either a hack saw or a pair of snips, so that the locking mechanism is not seen.

stepStep 5

For Permanent installation we recommend securing the tiles with 6mm x 30mm Phillips head screws through the designated spaces between the wood panels. (Permanent installation is only recommended if you do not intend to expand or re-locate your Le click project.)

teak oilStep 6

This flooring is a natural high quality teak wood, if left untreated it will weather to a sliver grey color. However if you would like to keep the color of the wood as is, we recommend that you use a wood cleaner to clean the surface 3-4 times a year. If you would like to darken the color of the wood, it is recommend that you clean the surface with a wood cleaner, and sand lightly with a heavy grade sand paper, clean again with the wood cleaner and apply teak oil for the desired color. To maintain the oiled look, repeat this process 3-4 times each year.
